'Pecan Puzzler' is a sculpture of a pecan in five pieces. It is one of my 'Tactile Sculptures' - that you can reach out and touch, feel, and have fun with. You can take it apart, put it back together, and display in as many different ways as you want, creating a new sculpture each time. How often do you crack open a nut without noticing the beautiful and intricate structure, made up of several parts, that lies within the shell? Or notice that the two halves of the nut, separated by the membrane, are set at right angles to the way the shell opens - and this is what makes some nuts so difficult to open cleanly? 'Pecan Puzzler' is beautiful, intriguing and fun. Limited Edition: 10
